    Which DvDrip/TV series libary browser?

    Hi

I hope someone can share their experiences when it comes to playing DVDs (well DVD rips) from inside VMC

I currently viewing about 70 dvd Divx rips and about 10 TV series from the video browser in VMC

These are stored on my WHS but not i got to the point that performance sucks whilst the thumbnail is created.  (they are all in the same folder) I guessin now is the right time to do something about this as i am in the process of ripping all my DVDs to WHS and keeping out of harms way from my one year old.

So confusing, which to go for

    1.  video browser by jackluminous

    2.  My Movies

    3.  OML

    4.  Sams media browser

    5.  VMC built in DVD libary hack

    (Did i miss any?)

Most are Div-x a few other formats as well (was experimenting in the early days)

Don't want to start any wars but what is the best to go for at this point (not whats coming in 3 months or something like that otherwise i always be waiting that 3 months)

I don't mind a bit of playing (instability) but i don't want to be going through the building process again when i got a couple of hundred rips

Currently i don't see my movies as the way forward as the UI is old looking although i see many fans.

I usally rip on my laptop and dump to WHS so minimal messsing about with VMC would be good.

    So whats your vote?

    BTW no extenders

VMC- Asus KV8 Se delux mobo, AMD Athlon 64 3000, 1Gb ddr, Nova T500 Tuner, nvidia 7600GS fanless GPU, 2x samsung sata HD, LG GSA-4163BA DVD

Re: Which DvDrip/TV series libary browser?

I used My Movies for a long time, but have recently moved to Sams media browser, and I really like it. I moved from My Movies because of the old interface. It's been over two years since vista came out, it really needs an updated interface.
Media browser looks more like vista, which I really like, and it handles TV shows really well, which my movies never did that well.

I haven't used video browser, but did mess around with OML a while ago. It might be better now. DVD Library wont do TV shows very well.

So, my vote goes to Media Browser.
