Still can't get MCE or WMP to recognize FLAC...

I downloaded the best known working copy of the correct CODEC's for WMP and, installed them on my PC.

I got mine from DirectShow at the following link:
    http://www.xiph.org/dshow/

Supposedly, all I do is download it, install it, and then I'm supposed to be able to auto-play any of my FLAC files in WMP 11.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?? Or, do I need to somehow tell the files (force them) to play in WMP?

When I double click on one of my FLAC music files, it just says "this is not a supported file type, etc, etc." and won't play.

What are people doing to get their FLAC lossless files to play in WMP and MCE????
