    Top 20 most trafficked posts of 2008 (in order)

    Yet they turn aroun and say htpc's will be obsolete shows what they know :)

    4) HTPCs will become all but forgotten as media streamers and BD decks gain functionality.

    10) Blu-ray players will be able to effectively replace HD streamers / HTPCs by having access to networked media, Hulu, Netflix Watch Instantly and the entire world of internet-based content.

    I don't see either of those coming true. Blue ray players don't give you the interface a good sage extender/media center extender give you.

    I would be the first in line to purchase a BD deck that had HD PVR functionality with multi CableCARD tuners and the ability to store all of my DVD and Blu Rays; play them juke box style and network throughout the house, and play my audio files, and internet radio, and surf the web, and... 

     

    When is this device comming out?
