weird cablecard issue recording 2 shows

So I have a XPS 420 with two occur boxes running the latest firmware each with a paired cable card hooked up to FIOS running Vista (no tv pack asother then the occur firmware and video card drivers its basically stock from dell)  The firewall is disabled on both tuners.

The problem is I can't record Chuck in HD on 504 (NBC) and Terminator in HD on 505(FOX).  Both were scheduled to record but only Chuck recorded with Terminator saying there was a conflict (i.e. acting like there was only one tuner)  This would be simple to think that one tuner is broken but the strange thing was I could watch Terminator as live tv perfectly fine (i.e. forcing both tuners to be used) The other strange thing is I could record Heros on 504 and Prison break on 505 which both started at 9pm perfectly fine.

Anyone know what would cause this? Thanks

check your history in scheduled shows and see if the reason for the failure is error 771. It's something that's been troubling many of us for some time.
