I was looking at the VideoRedo application and downloaded the trial.  I do see how handy the DVD to DVR-MS but with MPEG4 and H.264 becoming more common $80 seems pretty steep for this app.

Well, I switched from Nero to create MP4's to VideoRedo to create DVR-MS.  The process usaing VideoRedo is faster but takes more steps.  The real advantage for me was the ability to FF and RW video's and native playback in VMC and extenders.  I do use DVD Shrink to save a bit of space and then VideoRedo.
