LOL, no it didn't last too long, already out of stock and most assuredly it will be back up to the $149-$199 range it was prior when it does return.

I seriously wonder if they aren't getting ready to come out with some new models (Linksys, that is).  I have heard quite a few complaints about these in terms of responsiveness and video quality, but obviously they are the cheapest units out there hands down.

more likely it has to do with the xbox.360 arcade price drop to $199

You're probably going to be better off trying to sell it for that price on eBay. People on here have seen it go to $99.99 on newegg.com a few times now and won't want to pay $125 for a used one when they could have had a brand new one for under $100. Just a thought.

If the unit is wired, the firmware is updated and the Vista it is extending is updated, clean and on a good processor with 3-4GB memory these things are just fine.  I have used them in every scenario and now run them fine in their current setup.  Rarely a problem and the typical problem I have now is that My Videos doesn't load up when I go to it.  It doesn't happen that often and I think it's really just the same old crap with the libraries over networks not working the greatest on Windows.  But I have to admit my problems with that are far less than they were a year or two ago when it comes to that...Q

Bummed I missed the window on this too.

Will these also extend MCE2005 or is it Vista only?

Is the 2200 just a 2100 with a DVD player built in?  If so, Newegg has that listed with an instant savings that puts it at $149.99.
