Virgin STB, IR blaster and rf2link

I used to have a sky box, and could control it by having an irlink from pace in the rf out and that would send from my Ir receiver to the sky box, so none of the fragility you get with a magic eye

Does anyone know what works with the virgin v box, Ive tried the IrLink, but theres no power in the rf output, which you needed to turn on with the sky box to make it work

I think it depends very much which VM box you have.

Mine is a Pace box and the standard MCE Remote blaster worked.

My old Pace box was never 100%, but the new silver Samsung V box I've got now works fine with the standard IR blasters. I can't remember the last time it didn't change channel properly. It also seems quite forgiving with where the blaster is positioned, which the Pace was not.
