Sound lag from DVDs on HD

I'm using media center with XP.  I like to copy my DVDs to the hard drive.  A problem I have on some but not all, is that when playing back the sound gradually becomes out of sync, the longer it plays the worse it gets.  Hitting rewind or stop/play resynchs.  I have no other problems playing any other filetypes on this PC, video or audio.  Anybody have any tips?
    Thanks,
    EZ

That should be a decoder issue. Which one are you using?

Thanks for the link.  I'm running DScaler version 0.0.6.0.

Try another decoder, particularly nvidia's pure platinum.
