SOLD Anyone still looking for Sony firewire DVD changers?

I've got 2 that I'm no longer using, I ripped all of my DVDs to dvr-ms and now they're just sitting here.  If anyone is interested in them make me an offer for one or both of them, since the units are fairly large shipping will probably be around $30 a unit so keep that in mind.

Both are in good shape, though they do have some scratches on the top of the case, but that's the only "defect" I'm aware of.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Yep, they're the  XL1B2 units.  I have a couple offers I'm considering but I've not made my mind up yet.  I've debated sticking them up on ebay but I'd rather them go to someone from the community here.

So how do these work exactly? Can MC control them? How many discs do they carry? Sorry for all the questions, but getting something like this is something I have wanted to do for OML development.

Yes, XP MCE 2005 Rollup 2 and above natively control them.  These devices are the reason the DVD Library exists, so if you've ever changed the Play value to Gallery and then played a DVD rip through MC that's exactly how these devices work, except it's playing a physical disk.  They hold 200 disks each.

Does it have an RS232 interface on it?

Ideally I'd like $175 each for them plus shipping but I'd be willing to go down to $150 plus shipping.  I bought the first device when the first price drop happened, which means I paid $750 for it, the 2nd one I got for $299, so I know I'm going to loose a lot on them, the price for being an early adopter right? Indifferent [:|]

No, firewire only and they only work with media center, unless someone has hacked them into another app that I don't know about.

Not only that, but I think they have it almost streaming to sageTV clients and are saying its possible to get it to stream to an extender (with menus), though I don't think they are there yet.
