Verizon FIOS channel lineup has radically changed NJ

I can't watch any HDTV channels since last Thursday when Verizon changed their whole channel lineup. Any response or follow up to these posts?

    Hi mrloopy

please provide the headend you are using.  You can find this information by going to Task - Settings - TV - Guide - About guide listing.  I need the ID: to escalate your issue.

    Thanks

    Sorry, it's 49738311/189830987

It looks like there was some attempt to update the guide, but it screwed it up. The channel ranges are now correct except that a bunch of channels are doubled (i.e. the channel is listed twice in the guide (e.g. FSC 520 is listed twice).

Also, HBOHD is listed as ch 901 in the guide when it should be 900. 900 is currently listed as VODDM. Whenever I try to tune to 900, Live TV simply shows the last TV channel tuned. I've actually got three listings in the guide for 901 - HBOHD, HBOHDP, HBOHD (again).

So the guide's pretty screwed up right now...

From the Verizon website, I see the channels listed the same as are in the EPG. You state HBOHD should be listed as 900, but on the Verizon site, it's defined as 901.

    HBO HD Channel
    HBO HDTV 899
    HBO HD [West] 901
    VIDEO ON DEMAND Channel
    FiOS Video On Demand 900
    HD Movies Channel
    HBO 2 HD 902
    HBO 2 HD [West] 903
    HBO Signature HD 904
    HBO Signature HD West 905
    HBO Family HD 906
    HBO Family HD West 907
    HBO Comedy HD 908
    HBO Comedy HD West 909
    HBO Zone HD 910
    HBO Zone HD West 911
    HBO Latino HD 912
    HBO Latino HD West 913

Re: Verizon FIOS channel lineup has radically changed NJ

    Hi Chris,

You are right - Verizon sent out a flyer that had all the channel lineups on it and it doesn't match the online version. On the flyer, it has 900 as HBOHD.

I built a new system and the channel lineups seemed correct. However on my main system, everytime I redo the TV settings, it keeps showing two 901 channels. Is there anyway to delete the guide data completely so it doesn't retain anything next time I set it up?

    Thanks!

Have you tried going through TV Setup again? That should clear it. If it does not, I can walk you through some steps which will completely delete your db.

Yep, did TV setup from scratch. Still retains the old guide. If you can let me know how to delete the db, that would be great.

    Thanks.

    Hi mrloopy

We are getting reports that Verizon channel lineup issues should all be corrected.  Please let me know if you are still seeing issues.

    Thanks
