    MCE Remote/IR blaster in .net

        Hi!
I have followed the long long thread about how to use our Mce Remote
I have installed my Pinnacle, modifiying the register and the .inf file and everything seems to work properly.

I have tested the Microsoft MCE Transceiver.exe provided by BurningZeRoad and it works well.

Now I'm trying to pass to the phase 2.
I should like to write my own program that learn Ir codes, understand keys pressed on the remote, and use the Ir Blaster to control the STB.

Unluckly I'm not able to start.
What dll have I to refer?
Can you give me a basic basic .csproj or vbproj or some basic explaination how to start to work on it?

    Thank you very much
I will be happy to share my progress, later!

    Haw

Would intelliremote do anything for you?

    Thank you,
I know also HIP that instead is freeware,
but I still should like to write my own routine to add the remote function to my personal software.
in this thread they have spoken a lot about how to use the replacement drivers,
but I miss to understand how to use the dll....

Any update on this? I am also looking at controlling my STB through my MCE IR blaster. It is harder than it sounds because any other application that can use the blaster to send IR to the STB, uses a rewrite of the device driver which isn't really an option for me.

You might want to take a look at http://www.codeproject.com/KB/cs/USB_HID.aspx . I think this will help you figure out the item 1 and 2 in your phase 2 list, but I don' think it will help with using the Ir Blaster to control the STB.
