I'm somewhat new to SageTV.  Any recommendations for a long-time Media Center user?  I've installed on Gentoo.

I'm still not 100% sold on SageTV versus other HTPC software but I'm sick of Microsoft's close-mindedness in regards to Media Center so testing other solutions.
