Microsoft Censorship on the Forum - no just a microsoft bug!

I just made a post that included the words MxYaTxHkTvV and LaIqNaUaX, and guess what, it said "This forum is moderated". Then I posted "I love windows" and it posted straight away.

I guess we can all be happy about Microsoft's new ownership of TGB. Yay.

Re: Microsoft Censorship on the Forum

Or more likely it is a bug in Community Server that has been present for well over a year and I'm enjoying time with my family on this holiday weekend instead of looking in the moderation quene. I spend at least 15 minutes a day going through the moderation panel to make sure all the randomly blocked threads get posted.

There is no extra Microsoft moderation of the forum.  However, if you are posting spam as you said you did exactly why do you expect that to be needed anyway?

Re: Microsoft Censorship on the Forum

Is that like the "bug" in XP that means that in order to connect to a Server 2008 VPN I need to upgrade to Vista. Or to use Server 2008's new virtualization features, I have to upgrade to Vista? Funny how the "bugs" tend to all be in Microsoft's favor.

Yet another reason why I'm ditching Vista for Linux.

So, I'm sorry you're having to take time away from your family to moderate these posts thanks to a Microsoft bug. My family is out picking up some friends, and then we are heading over to a BBQ.

I'm trying to fix the Vista "Ultimate" MCE box.

First, it started stuttering terribly on occasion. I decided to update all the drivers. A few days later and now the analog cards don't record at all. My machine:

    Athlon 6000+
2x750Gb Seagate, RAID0: HD Tune says 80Mb/s write sustained
    2x Hauupage Win PVR II
    HdHomeRUn
    4Gb DDR2 800
    7800 GTS 256Mb

So, I've decided to go back to the cable company's HD-DVR, lest the wife kill me for missing the results on So You Think You Can Dance. My underpowerd Vista MCE box will become an over-powered Myth TV box.

Clearly you don't understand that Community Server is not a Microsoft product, nor does it have anything to do with your cable companies PVR.

    Pointless thread closed.
