I can't get my library in either the media centre or wmp to update. I've tried adding a folder to watch which doesn't help. I've recently added some new mp3 files which i converted from another format. Ordinary mp3 files that haven't been converted don't show up either.

If anyone has any updates or anything that might solve this I'd be grateful. If you need application lists or my PC Spec just reply and i'll tell you.

If you do give any advice can you make it really obvious what i have to do, I'm not that great with computers.

I found that when scanning my watched folder it would get stuck at the same folder every time. I have my music folder organized by artist and album. So I got to the album folder that is stuck and delete the albumartsmall.jpg and hey presto the scan continues until it hits another one. Had to delete them from each individual folder so it would update.

I have the same problem - even though my music drive (a seperate HDD for music only) is organised by Artist, them album - have tried several different ways to force an update including the removal of all album art.

Very frustrating and rendering WMC totally useless to me.
