Vista Remote Desktop - licensing protocol

I am running Vista Home Premium which allowed me to use Remote Desktop Connection for a 3 month trial.

With XP Home, once this initial trial period expired, you could renew your terminal license via sites like iremoteit for free and without having to upgrade.

This no longer works for Vista.

Does anyone know of an alternate quick solution to extend my terminal license for Vista without having to upgrade?

    1) Windows Live Mesh is a great tool for remote desktop.  http://mesh.com   its in preview stage right now, but if you signup for http://connect.microsoft.com you can apply to use it. Eventually by late summer it will be out to public.

    2) if you google it properly, there is a hack which will enable terminal services to work. You need some expertise to follow the instructions for installation.  try search terms like  "enable rdp vista premium"

    3) install tightvnc from www.tightvnc.com  you will need to play around with it first to see what settings you prefer.

    Overall, mesh is the best
