I saw a similar posting (same problem) in the 'General' forum October but no responses, so i'm hoping for better luck.

Recently I noticed that when i reboot (and sometimes when I just close MC) my series settings and scheduled recordings have reverted back to much older settings from a few months ago (deleted series reappear and my newest series and individual recordings are gone). Also, (and strangely) the 'History' section of the recorded TV reflects some (but not all) of my most recent recording/deleting activity. Stuff already recorded (new and old) is there, but their play status is erased (I can no longer 'Resume' play from recordings I’ve already started watching before the reboot).

 

I'll feel like an idiot if it turns out to be a side effect of those updates... usually I avoid them like the plague after reading all the negative posts but I think I mistakenly installed one a few weeks ago.

 

Any ideas about what could be going on?
