    Hello,

Have you attempted to force an guide download recenty? There is new data available right now that may resolve this for you. You can force a guide download under settings -> tv -> guide

Give that a try and post back your results.

Do you know when the last time you received new guide listings? You can navigate the following in Media Center to manually download them:
    Tasks>Settings>TV>Guide>Get Latest Guide Listings

Can you start there and see if you are still having issues?

I just did the update at 7:15pm today.  I just re-did another one now for you (7:55pm) and those errors still exist.  A great deal of previous errors were fixed today, so we're getting closer!!

A couple entries from the 20090615_195343 file, to illustrate:

    WJZ: <ChannelTuningInfo serializationFormat="0" serializedTuneRequest="" signalQuality="100" tuneRequestHash="0" isSubscribed="true" isSuggestedBlocked="false" isEncrypted="false" applicableTuningSpace="" logicalNumber="13" subNumber="1" physicalNumber="38" frequency="0" countryCode="" modulation="0" />

    WNVC/T: <ChannelTuningInfo serializationFormat="0" serializedTuneRequest="" signalQuality="100" tuneRequestHash="0" isSubscribed="true" isSuggestedBlocked="false" isEncrypted="false" applicableTuningSpace="" logicalNumber="30" subNumber="2" physicalNumber="30" frequency="0" countryCode="" modulation="0" />

edit: remember for this market WNVC/T 30.1-30.5 are served by UHF 24.  30.6-30.10 are served by UHF 30.  Please don't change them all to 24 ... people might get mad at me - lol.

    Thanks!

Update: WJZ 13.1 is now correct as of 5:30pm today (or probably earlier).

All that seems to remain is 30.1-30.5 still listed as UHF 30.  WJZ is arguably much more critical, being our local CBS and all :) Thanks

From checking antennaweb.org I'm seeing 30 is expected to be something else:

    http://antennaweb.org/aw/Stations.aspx

    Specifically:

    WMDO-CA 30 UNI WASHINGTON, DC 236° 25.5 30

Don't believe antennaweb.org, apparently :)  WMDO-CA is a low power analog channel, licensed on UHF 47, with a low power digital channel WMDO-LD on VHF 8.

I wouldn't lie to you guys :-) Promise.

Re: 2 remaining DTV channel issues in Baltimore/Washington

I'm getting different info from this site:
    http://www.fcc.gov/mb/engineering/maps/

What i'm seeing there is that WNVC is the station that should actually be on 24, not WNVT.

Yeah, I know ... look up at my original post and the follow-up with the XML snippets :)  Not nearly as important as getting the channels to tune.  The program data is correct, I doubt many people even know that WNVC/WNVT are combined to make the 10 virtual channels that comprise the MHz network.

OK, I'm kinda frustrated with this now, you guys aren't reading what's I'm writing.  Here's all you need to to do to make the channels tune for us.  Don't want to, no big deal, I personally have no need to watch news from around the world myself :)

    >> Set 30.1, 30.2, 30.3, 30.4 and 30.5 to a physical channel of 24

If you can change the call sign for 30.1-30.5 to WNVC, that would be more accurate, but honestly all 10 are part of the "MHz Network", so I really don't think it's a big deal.  Could be wrong, just my opinion.

If you want to get really nit-picky, there is no such channel as WPXWDT6 (66.6 / UHF 34) either, but that's in the guide as well :)  It's Program #6 in the PSIP data, but the virtual channel designation is 66.4 (which is already in the guide):

    PMT PID 48 (0x0030) - Program 3 ION
    PMT PID 64 (0x0040) - Program 4 qubo
    PMT PID 80 (0x0050) - Program 5 IONLife
    PMT PID 96 (0x0060) - Program 6 Worship

    Channel 6
    Service Name: Worship
    TSID: 0 (0x0000)
    Channel Number: 66.4
    Carrier Frequency: 0
    Modulation Mode: ATSC (8 VSB)
    Source ID: 6
Descriptor: ATSC Extended Channel Name Descriptor
Extended Channel Name: [Unsupported Huffman coding]
    Descriptor: ATSC Service Location Descriptor
    Service Location Descriptor:
     PCR PID 0x0061
     Stream Type 0x02 (MPEG-2 Video) ESPID = 0x0061 Language = eng
     Stream Type 0x81 (AC-3 Audio) ESPID = 0x0064 Language = eng

(There is also no such channel as WDCWDT2 50.2, but we're all hopeful that they'll come online soon as "thisTV Washington", so I'll let that slide.  I'd much rather see you guys get all the channels to actually tune in the #7 Neilsen market before complaining about silliness like that.  Really and honestly just trying to help you here, but I don't think I'll keep trying)

Re: 2 remaining DTV channel issues in Baltimore/Washington

Update ... 50.2 has become active as "thisTV Washington" as we expected, so don't remove that (but adding listings would be very cool!).  66.6 still doesn't exist.  Virtual 30.1-30.5 (WNVC) are still completely and totally broken.

I apologize for being a little harsh in the last post, but guys ... fix this please.  I'm really and truly not lying to you here.  What can I do to prove it?

In close to 1 year now with Media Center (TV Pack), there has ALWAYS been at least one screw-up in the Guide here that needed to be manually corrected.  We're so close to perfection here ... PLEASE?????

You're flat-out not going to fix this, are you.  Please just reply one way or another so I know if I have to manually do this or I should keep waiting.

No need to get too frustrated at this point. We're fielding many questions related to ATSC lately, but we are doing our best to assure all issues are monitored. Just because you don't get a response here doesn't mean we're not following up :)

This was escalated to our provider. I sent them a follow up email just now and am waiting for the response.

Re: 2 remaining DTV channel issues in Baltimore/Washington

Hey! It's fixed!  AWESOME.  They even changed the call letters for the 30.1-30.5 to WNVC.  Nice.  Works perfectly.  There are even listings for 50.2 now!

The only issue I still see is that 66.6 (WPXW-DT6 / UHF34) doesn't exist.  If you tune it, it will pick up program #6, which is actually 66.4.  Tuning 66.4 has the same effect.  I'm not sure which set of listings is correct (they are different).

This is the FIRST TIME EVER that I don't have any manually added channels at all in Media Center, please pass on my thanks to the team and the data provider :) :)
