For those with all their movies in a single folder below is a command line to move them into their own folders. Run it from the command line of your movie folder.

    FOR %i IN (*.*) DO (IF NOT EXIST "%~ni" MD "%~ni") & (MOVE "%i" "%~ni")

Cool. Let me know what you think. I'm testing an addition I made last night that will make dvdid files use the real ID.

    Updated:

1- Optionally rename movie files. It will handle movies spanned across mutilple files.

2- Uses the same API as Windows Media Center to detect whether a file is a video file or not

Fixed sorry, I had a typo in the DVD Cache folder name in the latest build. Please uninstall and download the latest.

I can also confirm that Yammm makes Windows 7 compatible meta files so that the default Movie library will have folder art and metadata.

Let me know if anyone is interested in Yammm synchronizing the DvdCache for all users.

That would be great for extenders to see metadata as well.

I've added this functionality. Please uninstall and reinstall the latest version. There will be a new tab in Yammm Config where you can select mutilple folders and\or selection what users

I've not got any movie info working, short of the title and the artwork. For some odd reason nothing else such as the sysnopsis is being displayed. I've even loaded My Movies again (first time in a while) and exported some xmls and even those don't show up. Windows 7 7100 Any ideas?

I have the same problem.  If I download the dvdid.xml file from dvdxml.com and replace the one that yammm created I then get the synopsis and the other data.

Did you check a user in the "DVD Cache" options?

Could you also check whether any of the users are selected in the "DVD Cache" options tab?

If none are selected then the corresponding meta file isn't being created.

Yes, I have all the users checked in the users box.  If I replace the yammm dvdid.xml file with one downloaded from dvdxml.com then I do get the synopsis data.  BTW, nice program.

Could you check goto %AppData%\Microsoft\eHome\DvdInfoCache and see if the YAMMM000-*.xml files are being created? Could you also try restarting the Yammm service?
