Definately improving. Build 6956 has no ATSC guide for my area? What do I do now I even tried inputting the Zip for Boston.

    Is this an automatic update?

    I'm still on 6801 w/ BlueBadge patch.

    Ok, Thanks!

Do I need to do a clean install though, or will it just update if I mount the image?

Re: Windows 7 Media Center Revealed: Updated Build 6956

I'm testing 6956 with a HDHomerun setup as dual QAM tuners and am unable to get any epg data. Everytime I go to the guide it says the guide listings are out of date and then asks me to download them again however no guide data ever shows up.

The good news is HAALI splitter and FFDShow no longer affect live or recorded tv.

I thought I'd throw up a few quick pics of mediacenter in this build...

Digital cable works great and one thing I like is an option in the guide to color code shows by category much like comcast's cable boxes.  I might have missed in a previous version, but I don't remember seeing it.

    Don't Know
Fresh install of build 6956. Using A180 with ATSC. Enter my Zip and it come back and says there is no guide data for my area. So I enter the Zip for closest largest city BOSTON same deal no data available. Finds 22 channels and I can view them just fine but will not download EPG

Re: Windows 7 Media Center Revealed: Updated Build 6956

That sucks, mpjbell.  I've run into a couple problems myself.  I keep getting an error at the end of the experience indexing.  It says there was an error reported.  It happens at the end while checking hard drives, so who knows what that's about.  Also music library refreshes the album artwork and basically freezes up just like 6801 did.

An another note, I found another awesome feature...while watching a movie you can view the cast, and view other movies they have directed, produced, or acted in(see screens below).  This is one of my favorite features of mymovies, and it'll be great.

How many times are you watching a movie and you're like "Where have I seen this guy before?"

I am having the same issue as mpjbell, I get analogue TV guide data just fine but for ATSC it says something about not being available in my region and leaves me with no data for my ATSC channels.
