Re: TV Pack 2008 Beta MSDTVVDEC.DLL.

It's a real shame there isn't a fix to this as it looks as if I will be losing BBC HD for no real reason.

Microsoft - is there any way you can release an unlocked version of this DLL for use at our own risk please?

    Thanks.

I never even managed to find the time-bombed x64 for testing. A 'sneaky' release would surely be appreciated ;)

I thought all you needed was a compliant decoder set as default such as one from Cyberlink PowerDVD Ultra 7, PowerDVD Ultra 8 or Arcsoft TotalMedia Theatre. For what its worth I have heard reports of BBC-HD working without the above mentioned Beta .dll.

Can't see how to change the decoder in x64 - the utility doesn't work. Any ideas?

Beta expired today Downloaded Arcsoft and no JOY changed the Codec to ArcSOft.

Anyone have any ideas how to get BBCHD back?

you would have to go into the reg to edit the decoders with the clisd of a new decoder but this does not seam to work either
