When I installed on a clean VMC machine I get "application invalid" when I try and run from inside media center. ANy thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

I have exactly the same problem. Can anyone help?

Any more info on installing it on Windows 7?

The installer complains it will only install on Vista and not on another Windows.
This is a great plugin which I desperately want to have on my Win7 box!

    Hi,

I wish it to me so much that the PLUG-IN for Windows 7 Advanced will.

    Thank you very much

    Thanks, works great.

    I got rid of the default music strip and created an new one for Music Browser using these instructions;

When I try to run Music Browser in Media Center I get the "application invalid" message! Is there a solution to this problem? I have tried to re-install as well as running various registry fix programs but nothing works!

    Hi,

Is there any plans to implement CoverFlow style in Music Browser?

    Cheers,

Great Ap - not sure why it's not implemented in the original MCE. Had a bit of trouble getting it to work with the DMA 2200 but after locating the config file, messing about with permissions It's working well. many thanks

For those still having problems, 1.3 appears to be broke on a clean install (at least for me and many others). Version 1.3b is out there and I finally got this GREAT app to install and work with that version.

    Thanx OsburnFamil,

Installing 1.3b solved my problem. I managed to install and can now launch the MB and browse my music folders.

A minor problem is that when I choose to play an album (mp3, from my NAS server) it mixes up the order of the tracks.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem??

    Hey,

I am having the same issue as others are reporting. "Unable to launch Music Browser". I have tried two different computers. One running Vista Ultimate and the other with Home Premium. No directory gets created in ProgramData or anything. :(

EDIT: Works with 1.3b. Guess I should read more posts before posting. ;)
