Does anyone know when the Hauppauge 2250 will become available?  Their press release said that it would be available in February.  It's now March and I haven't seen any yet.

I just spoke with Hauppage and they said that it's coming in June.  Can't wait.  This thing is going to be cool!!!

Has anyone found a concrete release date for this card yet?

Is the dual tuner the only upgrade?

Any day now, they say. Not sure what the hold up is, to be honest.

Since christmas, I have been using VMC with a USB Pinnacle HD Pro Stick and Xbox 360 extender on a daily basis.

My gripes are:

- During live tv xbox will display a quick flicker to white. Your eye picks up on it, but you get used to it. There is also a less occasional flicker of green on the bottom half of the screen.

- My computer has been freezing only when the TV tuner is in use over long periods of time. Sometimes, I am required to unplug the power cord to the CPU in order to POST the machine. (I think this is do to excessive USB power draw). I haven't been able to prove this, but I have a hunch the internal PCIe card would resolve this issue.

- No HD!! only analog channels work. I will be testing the hauppauge clear QAM patch with the HVR-2250. We do not subscribe to premium channels, so I hope the basics all show in the clear.

YAY!! I'm sure the price will drop when it gets to the retailers, and if it does, I plan to buy another one and have one dedicated to Cable and one for OTA.

So, have they been delivered to anyone yet?  I'll be ordering mine in a couple weeks.

I placed my order the day I saw it was listed on their site.  I still haven't heard anything other than the initial order confirmation.  I'll probably call and ask about it tomorrow.

I called yesterday to ask about my order and they said that they wouldn't be shipping them until the third week of this month.  Since I really expected to pay about $20 less than I did, I just canceled my order.  I'm hoping that I can find it cheaper from somewhere else when it finally hits the streets.
