I hope this is the right place for this post, if not apologies.

I have been happily using DVRMSToolbox along with Crunchie to convert and compress my TV recordings for the last six months or so and, apart from the odd time when the program hangs probably due to a corrupted file, it has worked fine.

Suddenly however 2 days ago, it stopped working. The Crunchie window would appear for half a second and then crash. When I tried to run DVRMS Toolbox  alone I got the following error:-

"Error in Do Work - ClassFactory cannot supply requested class"
Duration = 00:00:00 2031250

Being a non-techie, I have absolutely no idea what this means.

The error seems to have occurred after I installed the latest version of MediaPortal, although this may just be a coincidence as the DVRMS Toolbox worked fine with the previous version and I can't see why there should be a conflict.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I would hate to lose the use of such a great app.

This is now a very very long thread! does anyone have working showanalyzer settings for UK freeview? have been looking round but nothing workable yet.

Whenever I conver to MPEG it makes the file all interlaced so if I convert it again and deinterlace, I lose a lot of quality, anyone know how to make it not interlace? Also, does anyone know how to make the WMV convert higher bitrate?
