I have a script that recycles the ehsched service to update the Recorded TV Thumbnails. The recordings are located on a NAS, and this is the only way I've been able to get Recorded TV to actually update itself for new recordings as they are copied up to the server. This method has been working great, so far the only drawback I can see is that I keep getting the following error message: "A critical Windows Media Center process has failed. Please restart the computer and try again." every time I access Recorded TV or Live TV for the first time, and I have to click OK to get rid of it. Is there anyway to prevent Windows Media Center from displaying this message?
