    WinTV-HVR-2250

I have the 2250 card however I am having a problem.
I have Windows Vista x64 and 8 gigs of RAM.  No matter what I do I am unable to record 1 analog station and then watch another analog station.  Neither MCE or WinTv6 are able to do it.  While recording an analog station if I tune to another analog station I don't get a signal.  What needs to be done to remedy this?  Is it possible this card is defective.

It should i can watch analog, digital, and QAM fine individually.

    Thanks

Interesting. I own the same card and have not had that issue. I did see it once when I was trying to tune in clear QAM, but that was due to multiple recordings I didn't know about and vistMCE threw an error.

When you say you don't get signal, what do you mean exactly? did you get an error? static?

BTW, how'd you get tht clear QAM dialed in? I am having trouble with my media center detecting any channels. I am on the latest driver and the only copy of the hauppauge beta plugin I could find. Do you have any tips or tricks? Im comcastic.

by the way I'm on 32bit vista. Maybe I can try to duplicate your problem. what is your configuration? just coax cable in?

    Thanks!

Yeah, just coaxial in.  I have more to add.  I reinstalled vista x64 and i was able to get it to work correctly.....for a while.  At random I'm no longer able to record one station while watching a different one. Bummer.
