I've got my MCE here....2 user accounts (me, my girlfriend).  I'm having trouble figuring out how MCE works with switching users.

I'm watching a TV show, but she wants to check to see if her TV recorded a show for last night.  I dont put anything on pause, etc, simply hit "Windows-L" (to switch user).  She logs in, checks her RecTV, switches back to me (Win-L again) and boom --- my MCE has closed, with the error message (Media Center has closed due to an error).

What's the deal?

(Also, not always, but often when we switch user account, the resolution of the monitors (we use 2 for this computer) goes crazy.  One monitor will be as normal, and the other will be huge (800x600 or something).  And going into display settings and changing the resolution doesnt change things, it stays the same.  And the monitors get switched!  (the one on the left goes to the right, and vice versa).

Any ideas?
