Any sound recording software for XP MCE?

Hello all, I hope this is posted in the right community,

Does anyone know of any plug-in software for XP MCE that I can use to record stuff coming into the sound card (specifically line-in but mic might also be handy)?  Google is not helping.

I have a lot of recording software outside of MCE but I am looking for something I can use to schedule radio show recordings within MCE (one stop UI).  My HP z556 has a radio card in it already but for some reason the reception thru it is worse than thru my receiver so I want to have the receiver tuned to the station and playing and have MCE record at specific times the shows I like.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I inquired about this same thing some time ago & was unable to find anything. However, you
might want to take a look at RadioTime Red button & the RadioTime, MCE plug-in http://radiotime.com/Index.aspx

RadioTime is FREE but if you pay a one time fee of $29, the "Red button" feature on the standalone
RadioTime app will be activated which will then enable you to schedule recordings from web radio
stations. You can also use your existing tuner to record terrestrial radio stations.

The other way you can go is to use Total Recorder http://www.highcriteria.com/
The standard version is $17.95 (upgrade to the pro version available for an additional $18 or you
can just buy it outright for $35.95)

Total Recorder will enable you to schedule recordings so you could "tune in " a web radio station
on MCE leave it running, and then set Total Recorder to start recording at what ever time you specify.

There's also a way to have Total Recorder call up a specific web stream at a specified time and have it start recording.

BTW, are you aware of the WebMedia plug-in for WMC?  http://www.mcesoft.nl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=25&Itemid=122
