Windows SideShow + Vista Media Center?

Is there a Windows SideShow gadget for controlling Vista Media Center?

    Thanks.

Thats strange, I could have sworn I saw some quite developed remotes and applications.

I also thought that since this technology is getting older, someone would have done something decent with it by now :/

Guess I may look into making it myself.

Think the beta might be closed now, not sure if you can still download it ?

Hmm, could it be possible to have something like this working on a Zune? I'm guesssing it ain't possible, but would've been a great idea for Zune v3.0

No you can't currently run SideShow gadgets on a Zune. Would be cool however as I have an 80gb Zune 2.

Yes, I tought so, but I think it would've been a great idea for MS to implement it. Good screen, buttons and size for the job atleast.

Well hell, the wireless is there...yeah, Sideshow on a Zune would be great!  But now I now I have something else to hope for...oh well.

If we ever got a browser on the Zune then we could run SideShow Gadgets with the Ikanos Consulting SideShow, browser based applicaton that is due for release at some point.

I applied for the beta last night and got immediately accepted and was able to download it. Got it installed and was using it on my HTC Touch. Pretty cool. Don't know how often I will use it as I mainly use extenders but it's still pretty cool.

I signed up for it at connect.microsoft.com BTW for those who are wondering.
