    CycleWriter:
... in looking at the Guide Listings info page I noticed that the dates had changed from 8/17-8/31 to 8/17-9/7. If Guide info is downloaded in 2 week blocks why do I have a 3 week date period?

Because you checked this right after a new guide download had occured, and the garbage collector had not yet removed the old data.

    CycleWriter:
I then tried to record a current program. Nothing. The Guide still says "This program will record" but it should already be recording.

I've seen this happen when my hard drive was full.  Check your Recorded TV history, and you may see the failed recordings from when you hit the record button.

Re: Media Center Guide not updating

My UK guide is still not fully updated.  Some channels (e.g. Channel 5) work fine but others (e.g. BBC1, BBC2, ITV1) are missing their data still.  Can anyone in the UK confirm if DVB-T listings are working for them please?  Thanks.

Re: Media Center Guide not updating

Checked again when I got home and there is still no update on my UK listings.  Strangely it appears that the data exists for the programmes which are currently on but nothing beyond that.  When I go to do a manual update it says it has worked but the data is still missing.  Should it have taken this long to start working again?

Re: Media Center Guide not updating

I wouldn't expect so no. I am checking with my team to see if there are still any outsanding regions which have not completed.

In the meantime, you may consider going through TV Setup again if it's not too much trouble. It's suspect to me that some channels are updated and others are not.

I'd rather avoid setting up TV again as it took me quite a while to merge all the channels in (TV Pack).  Is there any way I can back up my configuration to be restored afterwards if there is a problem please? Thanks.

Still no guide update here in Northern Virginia.  I get the same error in the event log I've been getting all along.  What do I do?

Re: Media Center Guide not updating

If you are using the TV Pack, there may still be some headends that have not completed. Please identify if you are using the TV Pack or not.

If you are not using the TV Pack, I will investigate further.

Re: Media Center Guide not updating

I reset my TV settings and re-scanned for channels.  The guide data was picked up again other than on ITV1 which seems to be missing still.  Is quite a pain having to reconfigure all my settings.

@Chrisboedy: Can you check the New Hampshire area.

Barb (a MVP) who posted above is still having guide problems in that area, the guide ends Aug 31 both on Fiji and Vista SP1.

    Thanks .

I am using TV Pack.  How long should I wait before I become concerned?
