Hi Everyone
I Really need some advice from the experts here.
I returned a Visiontek 2400pci express HD pro video card today, (well a few days ago now) because I could never get it to work in my pc.
This is the video card that Gateway said I should get to upgrade from my original 6200 nvidia card.
A MONTH messing around with that card and A MONTH in and out of tech forums and searches on Google got me nowhere.
Finally, someone on a site called Tech Support Forums, (video card support) told me that an ATI card is not supported by my pc which uses an nvidia graphics card.
All I really want to know is IF I buy an nvidia card .. Will I be able to take out my old card, insert the new one and Not have to go through HELL just to make it work?
Oh, the other thing.
Can you suggest the card that I should get?
I don't do much gaming, (none really), I just want to improve the messed up colors on my display that I have never been able to fix.
I DO really want a better video card though for a hundred dollars or within that area.
Thank You .. So Much for your time.
