    Wake File Servers through MCE

    Hi all,

I spent ages trying to find a way to make my Video Server (a seperate computer in another room) wake up from standby from within Media Center. I couldn't find a solution so I've coded my own.

This app will add a "More Music", "More Video", "More Pictures" button under My Music, My Video and/or My Pictures and each one can be programmed to send a wake on lan packet to a different MAC address. You can also program it to send a WOL packet to up to 3 servers when the MCE front end starts up.

If you want to try it, then you can download it here: http://www.fantasticfox.com/Setup.zip

The installer will ask you which options you want to install. Note: If you tick either of the My Music, My Video or My Pictures tick box then you must provide a valid MAC address. If you select background it will send a WOL to all non blank MAC addresses, if you don't want an address simply delete what is in the text box. MAC addresses need to be ":" seperated.

Please tell me what you think and report any issues here. I hope you find this application as useful as I have!
