    xbox360

    do need a hard drive with my xbox360

    to be able to extend it to my media center on my pc

    i wanna be able to extend u know the tv viewing , movies etc

    does this require my xbox360 to have a hard drive ?

    No, you do not need a hard drive on the 360.  Only if you want to download and save content through the 360's interface.  I believe it also is used to save game information but I don't play games on my Xbox so I'm not really sure.  But I know that you don't need a hard drive to function as an extender.
