    It runs fine that way but the "add to more programs button" has no effect.

    Re: RadioTime MCE - Online radio guide add-in

    Run regedit goto
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Extensibility\Categories\More
    Programs\{4c36cf23-bf48-4f93-86c5-78009734d21a}]
    "ShadowCopy"="True"
    "Title"="RadioTime"
    "TimeStamp"=dword:0ce6ebbd
    "ImageUrl"="http://dev.radiotime.com/mce/mce/images/app_icon.gif"
    "ThumbnailUrl"="http://dev.radiotime.com/mce/mce/images/app_icon.gif"
    "Category"="More Programs"
    "URL"="http://dev.radiotime.com/mce/mce/mce.aspx"
    "UseCount"=dword:00000007
    "AppId"="{6c52e99d-ee6a-4c1f-a3ae-6ee553e86ed7}"
    "Enabled"="true"

    Set "Enabled  to "true" not "False"  then it should show in more programs.

    Re: RadioTime MCE - Online radio guide add-in

    Thanks for the help Richard but it turns out the link actually was broken.  It should be working now.

    On my Vista machine it brought up a warning message about allowing the unknown app RegisterMCEApp.exe to run.  That's a little odd since RegisterMCEApp.exe is actually provided by Microsoft and included with MediaCenter.  Anyway, once I allowed that it successfully installed the RadioTime link into the program library under music & radio.

    Slig:

    If you can't find the station on radiotime.com you can submit it to us (via contact us or fix it links) and we'll add it to our guide as soon as possible.

    Some of stations on radiotime.com won't be available on the MCE version because their media type is not supported (such as stations that require RealPlayer).

    Re: RadioTime MCE - Online radio guide add-in

    any idea why this might happen? I know one of the stations has a limit to numbers streamed per time so I have to try a couple of times and it works...but the rest?

    Can you give me a list of the stations you are having problems with?  I could look into it.

    Hi David, I love the RadioTime/MCE plug-in & have had a running dialog with Bill
    about how much I enjoy using it, but I too have found a few stations that play fine on my
    WMC desktop, but will not stream properly on my HP x5400 MCX.
    One of the common things I've noticed about those stations is the 44khz streams are fine,but
    the 22khz, and 16khz ones usually don't work on MCX. Could it be that MCX cannot handle
    these streams running at lower frequencies?

    Re: RadioTime MCE - Online radio guide add-in

    This is a great program. I've been using it for some time now, but after my latest reinstall of Vista, It seems to no longer be working right.

    When I click on the .mcl file it brings me to the radiotime interface and works fine, however their doesn't seem to be a link in the music strip, and it's nowhere to be found under programs.

    Is their a registry key that needs to be modified to have it show up in media center?

    Thanks!

    Re: RadioTime MCE - Online radio guide add-in

    swears:

    Normally you'll see a "Add to more programs" link in the navigation which attempts to add it to more programs.  This doesn't always work depending on your vista security settings though.  Here's a link to a registry file that will setup the app within media center:

    http://radiotime.com/pc/fullmceinstall.zip

    Just unzip the .reg file, right click and choose merge.

    Re: RadioTime MCE - Online radio guide add-in

    Dear RadioTime David:  Great Program and easy to use.  I have purchased most recent version.  I have Windows XP Media Center 2005.

    Unfortunately, I've encountered a major problem and I don't know "why" or "how" to fix.

    Whether I schedule a recording or just want to record a single show, I've had the following errors:  1029 bad internet radio source, freezes and then "mrt.exe" and "hung.app".  Therefore, I can't record.

    I've tried removing a few programs from "msconfig" to see if that might help but it only worked once and then I'm back to not being able to record.  I can listen fine but not record properly.

    Any fixes for these problems and/or what would cause this major problem.  OTR friends have this program and it seems to work fine for them.

    Thanks,
