KingManon:statious could you try to sketch out that folder structure for me?
Out of curiosity, what are you see will benefit you the most in OML compared to Sam's Video Browser?
Sure, I hope this is clear.
Main Folder - The Venture Bros.
There are folders for each season, an image (named folder), and the series.xml (information on the series: runtime, year, synopsis, etc. This information is pulled from thetvdb.com).
Inside each season folder is a hidden folder called "metadata". The files inside of this folder reflect the individual episode information (Episode 1.xml, Episode 2.xml, etc). There are also screencaps for each episode within this folder. All of the data is pulled from the tvcrapper script for ruby.
So it looks like this and I apologize for the format.
Top Level - The Venture Bros - Season 1, Season 2, Season 3, Folder.jpg, Series.xml
Season 1 - Episode 1.avi, Episode 2.avi, "", Metadata (Folder)
Season 2 - ^^
From my perspective, Sam's Video Browser has some great features and continues to get better. Having looked over OML, I see some additional features and automation that put it a bit ahead. Personally, I am looking for one solution to handle my recorded television shows and dvd collection. I am fine using mymovies as a backend solution and tvscraper for television episode information. If this can be automated within OML, then it would be an added benefit. If not it is not that big of an issue. Tvcrapper has some issues, but once you set it to update as a task, it is flawless (for me).
