tried removing from watched folders then readding, tried rerunning extender setup, and of course changing extension to .avi makes the file visible and playable.  dont remember when it started, but i want to say with the last firmware update.  just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and maybe knows of a solution, i couldnt turn up anything with a google search.

Hi m8,

as rule of thumb i always change my divx/xvid files to avi extension. then use the batch fourcc converter to change to Xvid. I guess you already doin that.

have to admit i havent seen this problem, only suggestion is to trash your extender setup and start from scratch, then add the library again.

these were h264 encoded files that had previously worked, but one day disappeared from the extender.  what was weird was they showed up in media center, just not on the extender.  and the entry for perceived type was still showing in the registry.  i dont remember what I did in the end but I got it working again.

anyways when i posted this it was late and i was in bed, i just threw a post up in case some update had done something wacky and i was curious if others were having a similar problem.
