Yeah, I'm a newbie. Sorry.

I'm building a media center little at a time (Money issues). I just purchased a Hauppage 1800 MCE kit. However, I need some advice before I go any farther. I have a Panasonic 56 inch projection TV. It does have S-Vid and RCA setup. However, I'm a bit confused as to what video card to get so I can make the TV act as my monitor. Did I say that right? I'd like to tuck the media center away in a nice tidy space and just use it as the all around deal hooked up to my TV and get rid of  TIVO. Any idea on what I should do/get?
