I am having constant problems with the Linksys DMA2200. It will work fine for hours and then sometimes when I try to turn it on it will say that it cannot connect to the media centre pc. This always happens right after the waiting for the PC screen. Restarting the PC or Reinstalling the Media Centre Extender from the PC fixes it but this issue is making using the thing a nightmare.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if ur using wireless, that might be the problem. im using powerline adapters and its workin like a treat.

i occasionally (and i mean very occasionally) have a lockup but flick the switch on the back and its good to go for a long time without hitch.

Are you using a complete wireless N network? I had a wireless g laptop on my N network and the 2200 was very flaky. I found a wireless N adapter on eBay for $27 and switched the router to only wireless N devices and it has been much more stable. I still have connection problems whenever I use the microwave oven, but beyond that it has been pretty good.
