Is there a way to upgrade the zd7000a to MCE2005 from MCE2004?  I'm currently running Version 5.1.2600.5512 (xpsp.080413-0845).

HP did offer the upgrade CDs for a limited time.  When I finally decided to update my m400y I had to do a complete restore and then do the upgrade immediately after the restore.  Many of the later updates will cause the upgrade install to fail. If you can get the upgrade CDs you may be able to upgrade.

I have a Gateway FMC-901 that ran MCE 2004. I had to do a complete reinstall of XP Pro, then install the MCE-2005 update that I had. I know many people that had to purchase MCE 2005 directly.

Given that it's an HP, and they did provide the disc, I'm sure someone has it.
