How to become a OEM DirecTV tuner integrator

I was just wondering if there is some sort of procedure in place yet for me to become an OEM capable of building DirecTV tuner systems.  I'm sure there will be some sort of BIOS hook and all that jazz like cablecard, so I want to get a jump on it.

Nothing has been said about what will be required, if anything specical at all.

Nobody knows. Niveus obvoisly does as they have coming soon on their website. The hope is it won't require a special bios since they are sending it out to testers.

well some info from DirecTV would be nice.  i'd like to build a windows home server with 4 tuners and just get a bunch of xboxes instead of this split config i have now.  i love tivo, but when they didn't offer an hd directv mpeg4, they lost my interest.

i think those home server and xbox combos would sell like hot cakes.

    thanks for the quick replies.

i'm in Katy, btw, so if you need some testing or help, let me know.  i run my own IT Consulting shop out of my house (primarily because most of my clients are corps that don't require a consultant with a store front).

now to look into what i've got to do to get a copy of home server.  should be in my technet or actionpak subscription, you'd think.

no access to home server.  brilliant.  how i'm supposed to test what i want to sell?  technet and the actionpak are great, because the let me do just that.  it doesn't look like home server is there anyway and that vista ultimate is the only supported platform i'll use.  c'est la vie.

There is no Media Center aspect of WHS, Vista will be the only platform the tuner works with.
