Audio not working on DVD rips in VMC

I have a HTPC running Vista Media Center that has been running great since I set it up about 6 months ago. A couple of days ago I lost the sound for my DVD rips. All other files (.AVI, .MKV, ect.) play fine but I have no sound on DVD's. I'm pretty sure that some setting got changes but I can't seem to find it. If I play the DVD's thru media player the sound is fine.

Anyone have any ideas that I can try?

Are you hooked up to a receiver? If so, what kind of cable are you using (toslink, digital coax, etc)? Have you messed around with any of the codecs? I would check the audio settings in the VMC setup and make sure it didnt somehow get changed.

Yes hooked up to a reciever.  Using mini plug to RCA adaptor.

I'm figuring it is a setting.  How can I tell what codec VMC is using to play Video TS files?  Why would it play fine in windows media player.

Why is it alway harder to get thing to play in VMC?  Doesn't it use windows media player to play videos?
