In case you have not seen this, there is a script now so extenders can see the DVD Library and be able to play VOB files (by making the files appear as MPG files).

If you could add this feature, this would be awsome....people have tried to get other files to show up too, so this might even make avi/mp4/mkv/etc show up in the Library....

Quick questions, I have recorded some movies from HBOHD and they show up in my DVD Library w/out cover art.  How can I save them in my DVD Library w/ cover art? 

I was thinking about burning them to disk and then rip through dvd shrink.  Will that work?

Unfortunately I have not found a reliable way to show cover art and meta data for DVR-MS files (the ones used for recording). I haven't had much time recently to work on this feature but it is still something that I want to develop.

It does actually work it's just that the text says amazon.com. The country next to amazon.com is what is getting used so you're fine. On the next version I'll just change it to say Amazon.

I'm fine with the button saying amazon.com but  regardless of country set  if I scroll accross in the result set to the columns webpageurl & imageUrl they point to amazon.com & not amazon.co.uk.

More significantly I get exactly the same results no matter what country is selected.

Example: In the UK the BBC DVD is called Walking With Beasts but in the US it's called Walking With Prehistoric Beasts

I would like to select the former but it does not appear, only the latter.

You are right, the UK search is actually the US search (typo in my code). I have changed it on my development computer but it doesn't seem to find any results except for the US search so I'll have to figure out what's going on. Once I'm done I'll upload a new version.

Ditto for the search for amazon.de (I've got a lot of German DVDs).  Can't wait for the udpated version!  Perhaps you could extend your program to work on files that aren't DVD-rips in the future?

I tried to install this seamingly great app. but after unzipping and running setup.exe it gives the error:
"Unable to install or run the application. The application requires that assembly OMLEngine Version 0.0.0.0 be installed in the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) first."

After some googling I foud out that this is a part of Open Media Library. But I can't install it. Is there a prerequisite i've missed?

And off course here's a feature request -- Would it be possible to also implement the dutch moviesite www.moviemeter.nl? It's like imdb but dutch. This would be great for the dutch audiance. I can help you if you're running into translation problems.
