Setup guidance needed (HVR-1600, HDHR, NTSC Analog and Clear QAM Digital)

I am an existing MythTV user and quite happy with it for my needs but am helping my neighbor setup a comparable system for use on an OS he is more comfortable with (Windows). This system is going to be used to record 1x Analog cable via HVR-1600, 1x Digital via HVR-1600 and 2x Digital via HDHomeRun.

    The dilemma:
    - Should I go with Vista 32-bit or 64-bit? (As the current config has 4 GB of memory but 1 stick of 2GB can be removed to make it more compatible with 32-bit)
    - Which of the tuner should we configure first? (HDHR or the two on HVR-1600 as I have read that NTSC Analog needs a registry hack/edit to work)
    - Is there any particular order to do things or gotcha's I need to be concerned with when setting up the guide data as NTSC Analog will not load the Clear QAM Digital data in the program guide (any tutorial I can be referred to)?
    - Are there any special updates/mods I need to install on this setup? (besides the registry hack to enable HVR-1600's Clear QAM tuning feature per http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/t/60183.aspx post)

I would have loved to see some type of a Wiki for MCE setups as forums are sometimes like a black hole of information, only those in the hole can find relevant bits (visitors never quite know how to navigate through its vast abyss). Looking forward to any help that can be offered by existing user community.

Wondering why you dont use Windows 7?  It will make setting up your ClearQAM much easier and it's a great upgrade for the Media Center.

I am trying to avoid purchasing another OS as long as it can be avoided. Although if it is recommended to use above stated components in the stated manner under Windows 7 (home, premium, professional, ultimate? 32 or 64 bit), I am all for it as long as relevant posts can be referenced.
