I installed Win7 on my z540 last week and have had a good experience so far. Win7 came with drivers for everything I had installed (the wireless card and analog TV tuner were replaced with a HD HomeRun and a wireless network bridge long ago) However my wife and I like to use headphones when the kids are asleep. With MCE 2005, we just plugged in the headphones, muted the tv and we were good to go. But with Win7, nothing. I poked around a bit and found that I had to switch the default audio output to the headphones from the speakers. Is audio device supposed to detect when headphones are inserted? I replaced the powersupply recently but haven't hooked up the power to the front panel yet. Is there any way to get Win7 to send audio to both the back RCA jacks and the headphone jack at the same time?
