    PP3 and archiving TV failing

I am not sure where to look to fix this.  My tv is not getting archived and is failing.  When i look at the program in the extras, it has a failure count and the show never gets past 0%.  I assume it may be a permission issue?  anyone have any ideas?

yeah, none of mine are compressing.  Several shows made it to the archive, but it gets stuck on a show.  I delete the show, but it continues to try.  is there a log file somewhere for the archiving process

Anybody figure out a fix for this? My archiving fails too (uncompressed) at 0%. All the folder permissions are set correctly in WHS.

     are these HD shows ?
I read something about an AC3 filter problem that your need to have on the PC for this to work.

Have you tried exporting to the Home Server without compression (i.e. just have it move it to the WHS)? This will confirm that it is a compression problem and not some sort of network or permissions problem.

I am having the same issue and I have confirmed that it does move to the WHS fine, it just won't compress. I'll let you know if I find a solution.

Cured my issues by uninstalling the WHS connector software (twice) from Win7, rebooting then reinstalling.

I read that to archive compressed versions, AC3 filter may be required if the original TV program has Dolby Digital sound.
