Is your computer configured as English - US? Did you also lose the internet TV tile on the TV strip? Can you try going to tasks | settings | general | automatic download options and:

    1. make sure both boxes are checked
    2. click the download now button

If you are asked to, please configure your internet connection, and when you are returned to this page, click download now again. Hope that helps,

    Jeff

Oh, and check to make sure any firewall software you may have installed is letting Media Center through. Thanks,

    Jeff

Yes it isconfigured as English - US?

Yes I did also lose the internet TV tile on the TV strip

Tried the following, but no Luck

"Can you try going to tasks | settings | general | automatic download options and:

               1. make sure both boxes are checked
               2. click the download now button"

I am using McAfee firewall/antivirus software and it shows the Media Center as having full access.

    Now what should I try?

    Thanks.

Can you look open a command prompt, and then run the following:

    cd /d "%PROGRAMDATA%\Microsoft\ehome\package\MCEClientUX"
    dir /s markup.dll

You should see at least one file, and it should be ~3.6 megabytes. If you don't see that file, then you aren't downloading packages. If you do see that file, then I think there's something wrong with the firewall. Can you try disabling it and seeing if the tiles show up again?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Thanks for the help.  I ended up reinstalling windows 7 and it works fine now.  I don't know what I did to lose it before, but all is well now.
