No pan and zoom in Win 7 MC on slide shows

Just upgraded from Vista to Win 7. Mostly very good, but a couple of issues.

When I play a slide show in Media Center the slides display fine but whether or not I check the pan and zoom button they always just cut and have no movement on the screen. The "Ken Burns" effect worked fine in Vista.

     Ideas?

Nvidia 8600GTS using component out to Sammy LED LCD. Just got the TV and will be getting the HDMI cables today.

I'm having the same problem.  Did you ever find a solution to get pan and zoom working?

Also, when playing music, have you noticed whether or not the "Now Playing" waterfall of albums scroll?  Currently, all I get is static images that slowly change.

No, I never figured out how to fix it. Also, I never knew that "Now Playing" was supposed to have a waterfall effect. I thought it was supposed to be just static images that slowly changed. I'm using a 256MB Nvidia GTS8600 card - not exactly state of the art but no dinosaur, either. Perhaps these effects require a card with half a gig or more of memory, or a more recent GPU.

I also have a problem when listening to play lists where the songs cut out for a fraction of a second about 20 seconds or so from the end before the next one starts. If I play a single song it does fine.
