OCUR - No tuner available to satisfy the current request - Win7 Ultimate x64 MCE

I have this problem with my system not seeing the tuners in Win7MCE - "No tuner available to satisfy the current request". One problem is that in the Network I don't see the two tuners show up as usual with a local IP address as usual. They do appear in Device manager, and the only way to get them to appear under Network is to disable and enable in Device manager. After a few moments they'll appear in Network & eventually MCE, but each reboot they disappear again. Even then, I can't tune any channels. The cable cards have been activated but receive no signal afte confirming all connections and everything is green lights. All drivers and firmware are up to date. I've read virtual clone was an issue with others having this problem, but I don't have it installed. I've re-run the MCE setup. Any ideas?

Have you gone into the little website on each of the cards?  You can open up your network (not network devices, just where you see computers) and double-click on the card.  This should bring up a website.  It should have a little bit of signal information,  card information, all that fun stuff in there (though the signal meter is apparently wrong?).

That is exactly what is missing each time I boot up the computer. The tuner icons usually show up next to all of my other network devices.

I turned off windows firewall on both Private & Public and now see the tuners and they're tuning channels again. Havn't tried rebooting yet and I'm not sure if this work around is wise in the long run.

after my next reboot I have the same problem until I disable both tuner and then re-enable. Any ideas?

    Have you tried the following:

    1. unplug both ATI tuners
    2. turn on the windows firewall
    3. reboot the machine
    4. plug in the tuners
    5. re run set-up in MC but do it windowed just incase the firewall is putting up a block message you can't see if full screen.

Is you system an upgrade from Vista or clean install? An OEM machine or bios loader?

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I have tried that. It seems random. Sometime they work and sometime they don't at boot up. It's working fine now so I just leave it be until it repros again.

I've found that when mine disappear, I shut down, then start up and they're back in the network area in explorer, but that won't always mean MC can see them...  sometimes I still get a "Viewing or Listening Conflict no tuner available to satisfy current request"...   Win7MC seems much flakier than VMC...

I do, and I have done that.  I haven't given it enough time to see if the issue is fixed, but I don't believe it is..  I may have more than one issue.
