How do I get EPG to match my OTA channels?

I live in the Washington DC metro area (lots of OTA channels).  My apartment building has a brand spanking new antenna on the roof that gets everything...and then moves it.  In my building, broadcast channel 4 is moved to physical channel 3, broadcast 5 is moved to physical 6, broadcast 7 is moved to physical 8, etc.

Since I figured out their "re-broadcast" scheme I can watch all the channels, but I can't record them because the EPG has no listing for the channels after the move.

How do I get the EPG to recognize that WTTG-DT (Fox5) that was supposed to be on physical 5 is actually on physical 6 and give me the listings for Fox5?

Vista Home Premium, TV Pack, Hauppauge 2250 if it matters.

Have you gone back through TV Setup since the transition? If not, please try that and report back.

Could you then use this template to create a new post in the data quality forum? One of our team members will investigate.

I don't think it's a data quality issue.  I know that the data is there, I just can't get it associated with my channels.

My apartment building's antenna receives WJLA-DT 7.1 on OTA broadcast channel 7 (174 MHz).  It then moves it to channel 8 (180MHz) I assume because channel 8 is a non-broadcast channel and they are trying to avoid interference.

So when I get the signal, channel 7.1 is now coming in loud and clear on channel 8.  The EPG will show the correct listings for 7.1 if I add a dummy channel as channel 7.1, but it won't associate those listings with channel 8 and that means I can't record anything.

I just have a feeling that there is some simple way to tell Media Center that the signal that matches EPG 7.1 can be found on channel 8.

Since you have TV pack, you can go to Tasks->Settings->TV->Guide->Edit Channels.  Select the channel you want to change the EPG data for.  Hit the Edit listings button on the left, choose the correct channel listings for that channel and repeat for the other channels.  You should be good to go.

I just wanted to say thank you for pointing me in the right direction.  All is well and re-mapped on my new Media Center computer.  You guys saved my sanity.
