Freezes while Downloading TV Setup Data

    Freezes while Downloading TV Setup Data

    When I try to "Setup TV Signal" Vista Media Center freezes on the "Downloading TV Setup Data" step. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

    What version of Vista are you running? TV pack?

    Is there anything in the App, system or Media Center log?

    I am running Vista Home Premium sp2. I have previously installed TV Pack 2008, and had things running smoothly. It quit working about 2 months ago.

    Where do I go from here?

    Additionally, since the program never crashes . . . just freezes indefinitely on the "TV Setup" screen, no logs are generated (the first dot in the status bar is present but never moves).

    I have an AverMedia M780 tv tuner card.
