"Unable to find Episode in TvDB Database"

I'm having an incredibly hard time getting DVRMSToolbox to pull metadata from the TvDB. I'm using Windows 7 build 7260 with v1.2.1.7 of DVRMSToolbox. I've looked all over the forum and done a ton of searches on Google. I'm trying to convert an episode of the Sopranos (S02E04, in the TvDB) using 'Convert MKV to DVR-MS -mencoder'. I've tried everything I can possibly think of and no dice. I even tried renaming the file to the file name used in the guide below. Still nothing. I thought it could be the firewall, but I've turned it completely off and still nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Mike.

As I recall, the season and episode numbers have to be delimited with periods, ex: .S01E01.

I had to manually rename almost every file I downloaded to get it to work.

Right. I have something like this:

    The.Sopranos.S02E03.HDTV.HDS.mkv

That should work, right? I've tried just about every file name possible... Still nothing.

yeah, that should work. There was also an error in the parsing code. Try .s01e01. instead of .S01E01.

Nope. Still nothing. I made sure to use lowercase letters and still have no luck. I can't seem to get it to work with any TV series.

Sorry cant help then. I know I had the devil of a time making it work.  There was the patch to the regular expression code so it recognises lower case or capital letters, and then delimiting things by periods. that got it working for me.

I assume its finding the series name but not finding the episode number.

I see you already posted to the dvrmstoolbox forum. This is the link to the thread that helped me

    I've tried changing...

    (?.+)\.S(?\d+)E(?\d+)\. into (?.+)\.[s,S](?\d+)[e,E](?\d+)\.

    still no luck. Anyone?

The episode is listed on theTVDB.com.

    http://thetvdb.com/?tab=episode&seriesid=75299&seasonid=8707&id=167554&lid=7

But it's not just this episode. It's anything. I haven't been able to pull metadata with anything I've thrown at DVRMSToolbox.

There are a few known bugs with TheTVDB reader and although Warren as fixed them, he has never submited the source to be included in DTB.

Email me at bjdraw at my google mail and I'll email you the updated binaries.

BTW, I tested that episode title posted earlier and it worked in the latest build.

How good can it be, if it isn't HD?
